Hahahahaha. At last my complaint email works! On June 16, I have sent a complaint email to DBKL regarding the basketball court at Taman Segar. In the email, I gave them one week period to settle the issue. However, they didn't reply me at all after one week. About one month later which is today. My friend, Wei Joe told me that he saw someone was changing the basketball rim and the board as well. I straightaway went there to check on it. And YES!!!!! IT IS TRUE!!! HAHAHAHAHA. I just want to share my happiness with you guys.
Below is my Email Content:
To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Robert Ling Jaw Hui, IC no.: 840719-13-5945. I would like to launch a complaint regarding the basketball court in the Taman Bukit Segar. To be exact, the location is at Zone 4 and the address for place is Dewan Serbaguna Taman Bukit Segar Taman Segar, Jalan 1A, Taman Segar Cheras, 56100 Kuala Lumpur. According to the information on the website, the person in charge is En. Mohd Nazim bin Din (contact: 03-90187727).
That place is a recreation place for the tenants who stay nearby. There is a park for jogging, badminton courts, basketball court and futsal courts. I used to play at the basketball court at least twice a week. At the beginning, everything was ok. The rims was okay and the courts was quite comfortable to play. However, few months after that. One of the rim worn out and broke off. I expected the management to fix the rim but until today we only can play with single rim. Another problem now is, another rim started to worn off too. As we can see, if the management has the financial capability to build up the futsal courts. Why they can't spend less than RM100 to repair the basketball facilities there? It is quite ridiculous when one of my friend asked the management and they gave him an answer that they do not have enough cash to fix the basketball rims?
I truly appreciate it if DBKL able to do something with this matter. As we all know how bad/ineffective is the response of the local complaint section/department to the fellow Malaysians. If I do not get any response any reply from your side within one week, I will launch this complaint to the newspaper or other media which I can draw at least some attention to this matter.
Thank you very much.
Best Regards,
Robert Ling
